The objectives of the LAKE OROVILLE AREA GARDEN CLUB (LOAGC) is to promote activities pertaining to horticulture, to educate its members in home gardening and the area of Floral Design, to sponsor and participate in Flower Shows, Conservation and Civic Beautification.
Guests are always invited to attend the educational program.
Past and current civic beautification projects include and are not limited to: Arbor Day plantings at local public schools, care of Chinese and Bolt Museums, Centennial Cultural Center plantings, care of Blue Star Marker in Beldon.
We proudly award a $500 scholarship to a horticulture student in June of each year. To learn more about the requirements, application process and filing deadlines, please contact us.
The Lake Oroville Area Garden Club is a member of the Buttes District of CGCI, California Garden Clubs, Inc., Pacific Region Garden Clubs and National Garden Clubs, Inc. Additionally the Lake Oroville Area Garden Club is a member of the National Arbor Day Foundation and Oroville Chamber of Commerce.
